This project supports both microfinance and agricultural development through NHASD, establishing a new Cairo branch office for group lending to serve 600 borrowers while also supporting 148 farm families in New Valley with land clearing, irrigation systems, and greenhouse construction. The agricultural component operates under a shared farming model where farmers retain two-thirds of their harvest, with infrastructure improvements expected to increase farmer productivity and revenue by 30-35% by the end of the project period.
