Kheyti’s “Greenhouse-in-a-Box” program provides smallholder farmers with affordable, modular greenhouses bundled with comprehensive support services that help increase yields up to 7x while using 90% less water. This specific project will pilot a rental model to make the greenhouse technology more accessible to marginal farmers, women and landless laborers who cannot afford the upfront costs of purchasing a greenhouse, with projected net income of $342 per farmer per 4-month season.
