This project aims to expand Kawadah Farms Liberia’s (KFL) impact by growing their farmer network from 1,000 to 6,000 smallholder farmers over a 3-year period, with a $290,000 investment from Whole Foods Market Foundation. The funding will support KFL in increasing their processing capacity, providing farmer training and support programs, and scaling operations to boost cassava and soybean farmers’ annual revenues, while also expanding their production of fortified ’power gari’ for school meal programs.
