WFMF proposes supporting Acceso Colombia with a 3-year, $150,000 grant to launch a loan product targeting 330 graduates of their new Community Training Farm (CTF). The CTF program targets economically and socially vulnerable women and trains them in agronomy, agri-business, and sales. Upon graduating, Acceso will offer selected participants an Input Package of ~ $430, which includes access to land (if needed), tools, seeds, fertilizer, insecticides, and other inputs to produce sweet potatoes and pumpkin. Acceso will purchase and aggregate these products, package, and sell on to local grocery stores in Colombia.
