Madhavi Reese serves as Vice President of Marketing at Whole Foods Market, where she leads brand, channel, creative, design, marketing operations and quality standards — bringing a unified vision and approach to how Whole Foods Market shows up across every touchpoint. Her work focuses on deepening rational and emotional connections with customers while driving growth and differentiation in a highly competitive landscape.

Before joining Whole Foods Market, Madhavi spent nearly two decades on the agency side, holding senior strategy roles at top firms. Her previous positions include SVP, Strategy Director at GSD&M, SVP; Group Strategy Director at The Martin Agency; and VP, Planning Director at GSD&M.  Over the years, she has contributed to a wide range of iconic brands including Walmart, Pepsico, John Deere, Southwest Airlines and Land O' Lakes. Known for her collaborative spirit and passion for effective creative, Madhavi thrives on creating brand experiences that deepen customer connections and spark long-term loyalty.

Outside of work, Madhavi’s world revolves around two things: running and food. When she’s not working you can find her logging miles on the streets of Austin training for her next marathon or exploring Austin’s vibrant food and farmers market scene. She’s a regular volunteer with the Sustainable Food Center and lives by the mantra: “What you put in is what you get out.”

Having lived in three continents, four countries, and ten cities, Madhavi has chosen to make Austin, Texas her home.  She shares a home with her partner Jonathan, and Noshi, her 3-year-old, 65lbs bulldog who, like her, never turns down a good meal.
